City of Cave Civic Museum
The City of Cave Civic Museum was inaugurated on December 7, 2013, and was dedicated to the artist Lorenzo Ferri (1902-1975) who was a sculptor, painter, restorer, sindonologist, and master of art.

On December 7, 2013, the City of Cave Civic Museum dedicated to the artist Lorenzo Ferri (1902-1975), who was a sculptor, painter, restorer, sindonologist and master of art, was opened.
The Collection
The museum consists of three museum sections the one located in the former Mattei Hospital and the two located in the former Augustinian Convent.
The two venues house plaster works by Master Lorenzo Ferri donated by the artist’s heirs to the municipality of Cave.
The works in the former Mattei Hospital venue are arranged in chronological order to give visitors a clear and unified view of the artist’s journey.
